Billing & plans
Yclas Neo uses a subscription-based billing model. You choose a plan for your team, and that plan determines how many staff members and marketplace members you can have across all your sites.
Plans
| Plan | Price | Staff users | Members |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29/mo | 3 | 1,000 |
| Growth | $99/mo | 8 | 5,000 |
| Scale | $299/mo | 15 | 25,000 |
All plans include:
- Unlimited marketplace sites
- All core features (listings, categories, search, messaging, user accounts)
- 30-day free trial
Free trial
Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial. You'll need to enter your credit card when starting a trial, but you won't be charged until the trial ends.
- Cancel anytime before the trial ends and you won't be billed
- Your card is only charged when the trial period expires
- If you cancel during the trial, your sites stay active until the trial ends
No charge during trial
Your card is collected upfront via Stripe to verify it's valid, but no payment is processed until your 30-day trial period ends. If you cancel before then, you pay nothing.
Starting a subscription
When you don't have an active subscription, the Billing page shows the plans and a card details field together, so you can pick a plan and enter payment in one place.
- Go to Billing in the admin sidebar
- Choose the plan you want
- Enter your card details (payments are processed securely by Stripe)
- Click Start 30-day free trial
Your trial begins immediately and you can start creating sites right away.
Subscribed before?
If you've previously had a subscription that ended, the trial no longer applies. The button reads Subscribe instead — pick a plan and click Subscribe to resume.
Managing your subscription
When you have an active subscription, the Billing page opens with a status banner showing your current plan, whether you're on a trial or cancelling, and quick actions to Manage in Stripe, Cancel, or Resume.
Switching plans
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the Billing page:
- Go to Billing in the admin sidebar
- Under Switch plan, select the plan you want to move to
- Click Upgrade or Downgrade
- Confirm the switch
Stripe automatically calculates proration — you'll receive a credit for unused time on your old plan and be charged the prorated difference for the new plan on your next billing date.
If you switch during a trial, your trial period is preserved.
Billing portal
For managing payment methods, viewing invoices, and updating billing details, click Manage in Stripe. This takes you to Stripe's secure billing portal where you can:
- Update your credit card
- Download invoices
- View billing history
- Change billing email
Cancelling
You can cancel your subscription from the Billing page at any time:
- Go to Billing in the admin sidebar
- Click Cancel
- Confirm the cancellation
Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. During this grace period:
- All your sites stay live and fully functional
- Users can still browse, register, and create listings
- You just can't create new sites until you resubscribe
If you change your mind, click Resume to reactivate your subscription.
Limits
Your plan determines two limits that apply across all sites in your team:
Staff users
This is the number of team members who can access the admin panel. Each plan allows:
- Starter: 3 staff users
- Growth: 8 staff users
- Scale: 15 staff users
When you reach your plan's staff limit, new team invitations will be blocked. Upgrade to a higher plan to add more staff members.
Members
This is the total number of registered marketplace users across all your sites. Each plan allows:
- Starter: 1,000 members
- Growth: 5,000 members
- Scale: 25,000 members
When you reach your plan's member limit, new user registrations on your storefronts will be blocked. Existing users can still log in and use the marketplace — only new registrations are affected.
Limits are team-wide
Both limits apply across all sites in your team, not per-site. If you have 3 sites on the Starter plan, the 1,000 member limit is shared across all 3 sites combined.
What happens when you don't have a subscription
Without an active subscription:
- You can still log in to the admin panel
- You can view your existing sites
- Existing sites remain live and functional
- You cannot create new sites
To create new sites, start a subscription from the Billing page.
