Account settings
Your account settings apply to you and your admin account — separate from any individual marketplace site. This is where you update your profile, password and security, teams, and appearance preferences.
Opening account settings
From anywhere in the admin panel, click Account in the admin sidebar to open your account settings.
The account settings area has its own sidebar for moving between sections:
- Profile — your name and email address
- Security — password, two-factor authentication, and passkeys
- Teams — the teams you belong to and their members
- Appearance — light, dark, or system theme
Use Back to dashboard at the bottom of the sidebar to return to your sites and billing.
Not the same as site settings
Account settings apply to your admin account. Site settings apply to an individual marketplace. To change a site's name, subdomain, or categories, open that site from the Sites page instead.
Profile
Update the name and email address associated with your admin account.
If you change your email address, it's marked as unverified until you confirm the new one. Click the re-send link in the form to get a fresh verification email.
Delete your account
At the bottom of the Profile page you can permanently delete your account and all of its resources.
This can't be undone
Deleting your account removes your admin access and associated data. There is no undo.
Security
Password
Set a new password by entering your current password, a new password, and confirmation. Passwords must be at least 8 characters and cannot be known compromised passwords (checked against a breach database).
Two-factor authentication
Add a second layer of sign-in security using an authenticator app (TOTP).
- Enable 2FA — scan the QR code with your authenticator app, or enter the setup key manually, then enter the 6-digit code your app generates to confirm.
- Recovery codes — once 2FA is on, recovery codes let you back in if you lose your device. Store them somewhere safe.
- Disable 2FA — turns two-factor authentication off.
With 2FA enabled, you'll enter a code from your authenticator app each time you sign in.
Passkeys
Add passkeys to sign in to the admin panel without a password. Give each passkey a name, see when it was last used, and remove it when you no longer need it.
Teams
Sites belong to teams, and team members share access to every site in the team. From the Teams section you can see every team you belong to, your role in each, and — depending on your role — manage members.
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control: manage the team, members, invitations, sites, and billing |
| Admin | Update the team, invite and remove members, and create/edit sites |
| Member | Create and edit sites |
Your teams
Each team in the list shows its name and your role. Personal teams are badged Personal.
- New team — create another team
- Open a team to manage its name, members, and invitations
- Leave a team you're a member of (you can't leave a team you own)
Managing a team
Inside a team you can:
- Rename the team
- Invite members by email and assign them a role
- Change a member's role or remove them
- Review and cancel pending invitations
- Switch your active team
- Delete a non-personal team you own
Staff limits apply
Each plan limits how many team members (staff users) can access the admin panel. Reaching your plan's staff limit blocks new invitations. See Billing & plans.
Appearance
Choose how the admin panel looks:
- Light
- Dark
- System — matches your operating system setting
